ANNUAL BENEFIT OPEN ENROLLMENT

May 1, 2012 - May 31, 2012

This year, we are introducing the opportunity to complete most of the documents electronically vial the Internet.  Please refer to your open enrollment package for instructions.  You will need to complete and sumbit to Human Resources the following items no later than May31, 2012:

  1. Confirmation Statement (in your packet), may be done via the internet or submitted to HR
  2. Medical Plan Election
  3. Certification of Coordination of Benefits if you have a spouse or registered domestic partner
  4. Optional Life Insurance application if you wish to add additional life insurance for yourself or spouse.  Annual limit is $10,000 for you and $5,000 for your spouse.

 

Butte-Glenn Community College District is pleased to offer a comprehensive benefits package for employees and eligible family members (children to age 26).   Coverage is effective the first day of the month following the date of hire. The package includes Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short and Long Term Disability Programs, an Employee Assistance Program, membership in either the State Teachers' or the Public Employees' Retirement System, a Section 125 Flexible Spending plan, and additional retirement savings options through 403(b) and/or 457 plans.

Open enrollment is held each year throughout the month of May. During this time employees are required to complete "Dependent Certification" forms and may choose a different medical plan, purchase additional life insurance, and initiate or renew Section 125 Flexible Spending plan.
